Week in Review! #1

week 1

This is a weekly feature that will be up on Sundays. I talk about books,tv shows, music, movies, bookstagram or other things that happened in the week.

Hello everyone!

Today is my first Week in Review (the name might change because I’m not sure if I absolutely like this one). Maybe you saw my past features Music Friday and Photography Sunday. I loved both but at the same time I wanted to talk more about other things too. So I came up with this feature where I plan to talk about books, tv shows, music, movies, bookstagram and maybe other things too!

Music

I discovered this song a while ago and really liked it but the official video came out three days ago. I really like the lyrics of it and the music of course. I hope you enjoy this song! And if you have any recommendations please let me know,I love finding new music!

«Dark times, you could always find the bright side»

«When I’m with you
I’m standing with an army»

Movies

I found out about this website that maybe you already know about this but for me it’s totally new. Since I started watching a lot of tv shows I kind of lost my love for movies (I only watch the ones based in books) and I hope that this site might bring it back,or at least encourage me to watch more films. This site is Letterboxd it’s kind of goodreads but for movies. You can write reviews, mark films as watched or add them to  your watchlist. Here is my acc, don’t hesitate to add me!

Any movie recommendations is very welcome!

TV Shows

This past week I have been watching Daredevil. I’m enjoying it! I’m currently on epsiode 8, which is the one I’ll watch tonight. I plan to do a post about this show and other, that I will write as soon as I finish the first season of Daredevil. Other show I’m still watching is Downton Abbey. I’m in season four episode five. Last but not least I’m still watching Continuum, and I’m in season 3 episode 8.

And I watched other episodes that came out this week such as Teen Wolf 5×12, War and Peace 1×02, Reign 3×09 and I almost forgot I don’t know how  I watched the first and second episode of Shadowhunters! I haven’t done a post about my thoughts in Shadowhunter but I definitely saw some things I didn’t like and others that I liked. Overall, I will watch it, I liked the episodes but there are somethings that I’m not sure about. Let me know what you thought about shadowhunters and we can talk about it!

Books

I started using my own reading tracker spreadsheet! I knew about this after reading Maria’s post from Marwhal Reads you should check her post! I hope I can keep this because it seems so helpful and at the end of the year I think it will be great.

This week I read Magic Shifts by Ilona Andrews, Los Secretos de Sara by Guillermo Cerviño Porto, Indestructible by Emma L Adams and I started Demons in Disguise by A&E Kirk.

Bookstagram

I’m in a bookstagram hiatus. I just don’t find inspiration and I don’t want to post. I don’t know what’s happening because I love the bookstagram community. I joined Bookish Scene Project 52 to try to start posting again and find some inspiration. Today I took a lot of pics and I hope that I’ll post at least 6 of them. I also already have a project for next week and I’m excited! Maybe I go back to bookstagram again!

I think this is all for this week! I hope you enjoyed this! I definitely like how I can talk about different things that I love.

Let me know your thoughts about any of these and if you have a recommendationof any kind please let me know about it in the comments!

  1. Thanks for recommending Letterboxd! I have created an account and I’ll definitely follow you. I’m currently in the proces of adding all the movies I’ve seen. I have this jar with all my movie tickets going back until 2009. So I guess I’ll have a lot of work, but I do think that this will be a great way to keep track of these things. Thanks again 😁

      1. Yay! I checked your acc yesterday! I don’t know many people but I think I’ll find someone, just finding new films I might be interested for me is great because I movie-world is really limited. I just want to explore again and see what happens! 😀

  2. Bookstagram people honestly put so much effort into their posts. I don’t think I could keep up (as much as I LOVE creeping all of the posts!). When you’re off hiatus I shall follow you too :). Just let me know. n_n.
