Eclipsed by darkness, the Romelands must face the ultimate quest. If they are forced toward the umbra peak, they will be completely obscured.
Symone struggles with her most challenging battles … the conflict within herself. Losing loved ones steals part of her soul. Despair has created a gaping hole where her heart should be. Symone doesn’t even recognize herself. She has to determine if this is the person she’s turned into, or if it is who she has always been.
Nile is an attractive aristocrat whose charm and arrogance drives Symone insane. Beyond Symone’s control, Nile is spun into her life. But she’s not sure if she can have a relationship with him or where that could lead her. Embracing love could make her whole again, but it may also destroy her. Symone must travel through the opaque light in order to find where her destiny lies.
Symone’s family, Shiray and Syira, continue to fight in the feuds of their galaxy. Together they have to find the balance between compassion and sacrifice. Kadanans are being held captive, and they hold the fate of their world in their hands. They have only begun to understand the consequences of the devastating realities of war.
The enemy of my enemy is my friend, is the philosophy the Romelands now abide by. With chaos and turmoil at every corner, they may forget what is worth fighting for. The surge for power has erupted. Only the strongest race will be left standing.

*I was given a copy of this book in exchange of a honest review*

Ohhh! So sad this trilogy ended!

The Writing:
As in the previous books the writing is great. This has always something happening that keeps you into reading, it might be action or not but you just keep reading. There are many POVs too, which is great because you read from the ‘old’ characters and relationships and from the ‘new’ ones. If you don’t know this is a trilogy that each book is about one of the royal sibilings, Brian,Syria and Nile though all the POVs are from women (Brian’s love interest: Shiray; Syria; Nile’s love interest Symone)

The Story:
This has a lot of action. This is the conlusion to that war that has been through the previous book. I was so scared all the time reading this. Because, lets be honest, war is war and anything can happen. So we see this war come to an end with a lot of action which I enjoyed a lot.
We also see Nile falling in love! And it was soo much fun! He was the bad boy, the ‘I-will-never-be-in-love’ so it was fun to see him and Symone trying to work things out. They make such a great couple!
I can’t forget to say that we keep reading about the other two couples and I love that. Though the book is mainly focused on Nile and Symone, Brian and Shiray and Kadeem and Syria get they big part and I just fell in love with them again.

The Characters:
Nile: As I mentioned he was the ‘I-Will-Never-Fall-In-Love’ guy and he did fall in love so it was fun to see him. I also believe he has a character development through this book learning to be with someone as a couple, not being so controlling and accepting the comunication with others.
Symone: She is bad ass and that was so great to read. She also has character development, healing from wounds of the past, starting something new and getting stronger every step of the way.
I’m not really going to talk a lot about the other main characters but I think I made clear that I was happy to read them again.

So lets do a little recap and why you should read this series:
–> Action! This definitely has that.
–> Main female characters badass! They don’t fear to express or fight.
–> Superpowers! Each character has a diferent power, isn’t that cool? (And they are really great with them)
–> Main male characters to fall in love! You might love one more than the others but they are all really great.
–> Relationships! Relationships! Relationships! This series has such good romances! Like I loved reading them all. And they get many tests.
–> Emotions everywhere! You will cry, laugh, feel happy, sad and a lot of more things!

So, I hope you read this and let me know your thoughts if you do!
I definitely enjoyed it and look forward to more…
