January + #DiverseAThon Wrap Up!

jan

Hello everyone!

January is gone and that means I have one less month of holidays crying so much but I’m really enjoying summer. As the month is gone I’m here to do my wrap up and share what happened this month!

#DiverseAThon Wrap Up

So! I successfully managed to read all the books in my TBR. Since some of my reviews are too long (seems like I had lot of things to say) I couldn’t share them all in a post without it being way too long I decided I would share them individually but for now I’m going to write some of my thoughts.

Simon VS the Homo Sapiens Agenda: 5/5 stars. Loved this one. It was so sweet and fun to read. One of my favourite things was the questioning the author did of some things. (Review will be up soon)

Binti: 3.8/5 stars Though I liked this one the first half was so confusing and I didn’t understand the world. But, overall, I liked it and I think it can be a perfect read for sci-fi fans. (Review will be up soon)

More Happy Than Not: 4/5 stars. I had ‘kind-of’ weird journey with this one. At the beginning it was so slow and difficult to get into but then I just was into the story and the ending omg. (Review will be up soon)

For me #DiverseAThon was a great experience and I’m so happy I participated!!

January Wrap Up

Now let’s talk about all the books I read in January!

tira-4

The Hook Up: 4/5 stars. I liked it, fun, easy and fast read quite addictive.

Empire of Storms: 5/5 stars. I love Throne of Glass and I just lved this one as well.

Blue Orca: 2/5 stars. Sadly I didn’t like this one though it did sound great. More thoughts here.

Playing for Keeps: 4/5 stars. Another fast, easy and fun romantic read.

The Rule Book: 4/5 stars. I enjoyed thi more than I expected. Classic love story and some cliches but I liked the rules.

Myths of Immortality: 4.3/5 stars. Third book in the series I really liked it the best thing is how author uses mythology. More thoughts here. Book 1. Book 2.

Heart of Power: 3/5 stars. Sadly this had lack of problems in the plot for me and that made it less interesting. More thoughts here.

Him: 4.2/5 stars. Ahh, I enjoyed this so much! The romance was great and I enjoyed the story a lot.

Mafia: 5/5 stars. The ending of a series I loved. It was full of romance, action and mafia.

Sense and Sensibility: I haven’t decided the rating but for me the best thing was how the author wrote human emotions and the complexity of relationships.

Books Added to my TBR

I don’t usually share this because I don’t add that many books each month but in January I did and that’s why I’m sharing this small list. I added these books to my Goodreads TBR even though most of them aren’t in my February TBR!

Blogging

Last part of this long post (sorry about that) is my blog. This month I started posting in Spanish too and sometimes it’s hard to organize everything but I’m liking it so far. I need I think more experience blogging in two languages but there is no other way to achieve that other than keep posting and trying things.
