The Writing:
I found this book fast and easy to read.
There are some scenes I would have liked to read more about.

The Story:
Second book, we follow the story of Eva and Clive once again and the msytery continues.
This is a romance book with steamy scenes. The threat of the informant is still there, and it might be a bit dragged in some points but at least it took a more dangerous turn from the last book and that allowed a bit of change. I want to read the third book before concluding anything else if this point of the plot is dragged or not. The next book will be the last one and finally we will know who is behind all those threats and plotting.
The other point of the plot was Clive’s past, which was quite sad, but was resolved many pages before the ending.
Other than that there was no more plot than reading them, and their romance. But it was good anyway because I was entertained, I liked their romance and all that mystery that knows a lot of things and I still want to know who he is.

The Characters:
•Eva: I like reading her because she is not frustrating or does things out of stubbornness. She is very sweet and even though she is in danger she doesn’t freak out, she thinks and then acts.
•Clive: This is a sweet and sexy character that cares a lot about Eva but it’s not the ‘dominant’ guy or just does crazy stuff (only tracking her, which is pretty weird but given the circumstances it might be useful in the third book). The challenge was for him in this book to reveal a past that still hurt him but at least he opened up and told Eva the truth.
•Ryan: I’m happy that he changed his mind (or at least I hope so) about Clive and Eva. He was too insistent and as Eva said, I liked him as a friend and he was risking their friendship.
•Izzy and Ali: They are good friends and I really hope they get relationships too, but I know they are half-way there.

I don’t think this book will change your life or will be something you have never read but if you want a sweet romance and a bit of mystery you might want to give this a shot.

About the author:

Camellia Hart, a techie turned author of romance, lives in San Francisco with her
husband, the love of her life. Other than writing her next romance novel, her
hobbies include traveling, lazing on a beach with a good read, watching movies
with happy endings while gorging on endless buckets of popcorn, red wine, and
champagne truffles.
She would love for you to visit her on her website on Facebook on Twitter on Pintrest on Goodreads .
